How to Manage Chat Widget Languages

From your ChatWILL App Dashboard, go to Chat WidgetLanguage.

In this section of your ChatWILL App Dashboard, you can:

1. Edit your default language (synced with your Shopify store)

2. Manually adjust translations for each language

3. Enable or disable automatic translation

Edit the Default Language

  • The default language is automatically synced with your Shopify store’s default language.

  • To change it, go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Languages, click the three dots beside your current default language, and select Change Default Language.





Manually Edit Translations

  • Select your publish language and click on each text field to update or correct translations manually.

  • This allows you to fully customize how messages appear in different languages.

Enable Automatic Translation

  • Simply toggle the Enable Automatic Translation button to turn this feature on.

Currently, ChatWILL supports the following languages (with more coming soon):

  4. Spanish

  5. Finnish

  6. French

  7. Italian

  8. Japanese

  9. Korean
